White Bean and Gorgonzola Topping
Ingredients
- 1 large clove garlic, sliced
- 1 cup Whole Foods White Beans, with liquid
- 1 TB Whole Foods Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp chopped rosemary
- 1/4 tsp crushed red chile flakes
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup Gorgonzola, crumbled
Method
- Saute the garlic in the oil until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Toss in beans and remaining seasonings and coarsely mash. If mixture is too dry, add a bit of stock or water. Remove from heat and add cheese.
- Use this as a spread atop toasted bread rounds, or stir in vegetable or chicken stock and use it as a pasta sauce, served over Whole Foods Porcini Mushroom or Red Pepper Frozen Ravioli.
