Crunchy Peanut Butter Drops
(Makes about 5 Dozen Cookies)
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine
- 1-1/2 cups chunky-style peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 12-ounce package (1-3/4 cups) "M&M's"® Semi-Sweet ChocolateMini Baking Bits
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a mixing bowl cream butter, peanut butter and sugars; add egg and beat until light and fluffy.
- Blend in flour mixture just until combined. Stir in "M&M's"® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet; press very lightly to flatten using the back of spoon.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden in color. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks until completely cooled.
- Store in tightly covered container.
